Cheap oily products I use on a regular basis - and I don't like sticky stuff
Hey guys ! Today we are going to talk about beauty products that are "oily" (or even pure oil). There are all products I use on a regular basis, and I'm going to tell you my opinion about it, and the way I use them. Bonus : all of them are quite cheap !
First of all, a little disclaimer : I do know there are chemical ingredients in some (not all) of those products. I don't claim they are organic, or pure oil.
Note : this article is based solely on my truthful opinion. I have no affiliation with any of those brands.

Coconut oil
I guess this is a product that any of you knows, and that you heard a lot about it on the internet lately. I have to admit I didn't start to use it a long time ago, but now that I have I clearly understand why everyone is talking about it.
I mostly use it for my hair, as it is really damaged due to all the bleaching it had to endure in the past. It's been working very well. A friend of mine told me it is really great to use as a makeup remover, but I didn't try it yet.
I basically just put it on my hair (all of it, even the top of my had) on the afternoon on a day where I know I'm not gonna get out of my house. Then braid my hair, and simply wait and sleep with my braid full of coconut oil. I get rid of it with two shampoos on the next day on the morning, and leave my hair to dry naturally. I can assure you you will see the effects immediately : the hair is shinier, softer, has more volume and looks healthier.
If you are afraid of the sticky feeling on your hands / hair, don't be. Coconut oil is pretty quickly absorbed by your hair, so even if it looks "greasy", the sticky feeling doesn't stay long.

Hair mask - Argan, Keratin and Silk
First of all, I need to mention that I don't like to use hair masks at night because I have the feeling my hair is always greasy afterwards, so I never do that (instead, as indicated, I do it with coconut oil).
Most of the time, I don't like to use hair masks at all. I basically always forget to put it on my hair and then if I put it on I know I will have to wait the indicated time even if I'm already ready to get out of the bath/shower. However, things have changed with this one because 1) it smells SO good that I don't forget to put it on anymore as it is one of the moments I like when showering and 2) it does leave my hair really smooth, and the smells stays a bit on them.
Even if it is not purely an "oily" product, I put it on the list because one of the main ingredients is argan oil.

Syoss beauty elixir "Absolute Oil"
This Syoss "elixir" is great, but you have to be careful while dosing it. I use it solely on the broken ends of my hair as it is REALLY oily. If you have healthy hair, I don't exactly recommend to use it, as I have the feeling it will only leave your hair greasy and heavy. However, I heard some people use it as a mask and obtain great results - I never tried, so I can't really tell.
If you do have damaged hair, then it works really great.
I use it on my wet hair. Just be careful to use your fingers to make sure you don't put too much product in one place. The great thing about it is the packaging : the little pomp is great and has a secure position so you can take it when you travel without risking having oil everywhere in your bags.

Biosilk - Silk Therapy
I wasn't sure whether to put the product in here because I don't even know if there is oil in this. However, the texture is kind of oily and I really love the product, so I figured I will put it in here anyway.
I use it on the ends of my hair, and the feeling of the hair under your fingers after that is just amazing. They are soft, it is so easy to brush them and they appear shinier. I highly recommend the product, even if it is not the cheapest on the list, it is still not expensive for what you get - and you don't need to put a lot of product in your hair to see the result.
I got the small bottle because I bought it from a hairdresser in Poland to try it, and then another small bottle because they were selling it for 1€ at the supermarket, but I will definitely buy a big bottle as soon as I finish this one.

Monoï moisturizing water
OK guys, so this little thing is basically a dream come true for me. You know how the whole point of the article is about oily-based stuff for people hating sticky things ? So this one basically is the heart of the article.
I am a dry-skin person. Like, EXTREMELY dry. Why that ? Simply because I hate moisturizer. It is sticky, it is awful when you have to put your clothes on and it's not entirely dried out - and it takes AGES to dry out, and I always feel kinda dirty with it - I don't even know why.
I was talking to my friend about my hatred for moisturizer and said "I wish there was some moisturizing spray that isn't sticky - and if it smells good, it's a plus !" and she answered "well good luck with that". 3 days later, I got my birthday-gift card from Yves Rocher (they do that for your birthday if you ask for the Yves Rocher card) and then...TADAAAA there it was. A dream come true. And it smells really - reallyyyy good.
So ok, maybe it doesn't moisturize your skin AS MUCH as a "real moisturizer", but it gets the job done. And as I have no problem (at all) with spraying it a few times a day (now that the weather is good and I'm wearing shorts and t-shirts), my skin resurrects a bit.

Bourbon vanilla shower oil
I have to admit I bought this product solely for two reasons : it was crazily cheap and it smells like heaven, especially during colder days. I am a big fan of vanilla scent, and this oil is perfect for me. The non-sticky oily texture is a real plus, and even if it is not an under-shower moisturizer (I am thinking of the Nivea one), it also doesn't dry-out your skin like certain shower gels do. However, don't expect it to foams a lot like other shower gels - which means you will use more product at once. Don't let this stop you from buying it, as it is really cheap.
Note : be aware that Yves Rocher changes its scents regularly, so it is highly possible that the shower oil won't be "vanilla bourbon" but another scent. However, most of the time, Yves Rocher products smell really good.

Bielenda argan cleansing face oil
I've been through a lot of face-cleansing products during the past few years, and as I have a very dry (cf not moisturized enough) and sensitive skin, none of them quite did the trick. I always ended up with even drier, damaged, even almost-burned skin and gave up. Of course, cleaning your face with only make-up remover micellar water and plain water wasn't a great option either. I just didn't know what to do.
When I saw that oil in a shop while I was visiting my grandpa in Poland (but you can find it on Amazon, I checked), I decided to give it a try. I hate sticky things, but I had the feeling that "oil" wouldn't attack my skin so much. It was a good decision, as not only it does its job pretty well, but also when you mix the product with water, it isn't oily at all - it turns out to a white runny mixture you can easily clean your face with, no stickiness involved. Definitely a must have !

Ricin Oil
This product is pure oil, I bought it at my local drugstore for a few bucks and you can do the same. A lot of people use this oil on their hair, and claim it works magic. I tried once and will never reiterate. The oil is very thick, it is hard to display it on your hair and I couldn't get rid of it even after two shampoos.
BUT I use it for something else, and it works magic - the lashes. I cleaned up an old mascara brush, and every other day (if I don't forget), I display the product on my lashes right before bed. You can already see results on the next day in the morning when you put your mascara on : the lashes look healthier, blacker and longer. If you keep using it, after a week of using it on a daily basis if you put a good mascara on it will look like you have false lashes.
I did use it everyday for a while but then my lashes started to scratch. I have no idea why and didn't find any comment of someone experiencing the same thing on the internet - I guess I'm just a weirdo. So I stopped using it until it passed and now I use it every other day, and I everything goes fine.
